The funnel was growing rapidly, changing the material world known to man and the only solution for salvation was - mass exodus. And escape was possible thanks to the efforts of one madman who dedicated his life to proving the existence of the anomaly. Signs of the disaster were discovered at a very early stage, which secured the necessary time to prepare for salvation.
Colonies of people were devastated, resources, and all that could be used in the construction of the ark, were sent to the greatest construction project in the history of mankind. Grandiose in its scope, a spacecraft was built on the Earth orbit and was intended to escape at superluminal speed from the rising death. When the ark was finished, people had settled teralopolises surrounding the Earth's orbit and left the solar system with the home world. However, such a huge mass movement required huge power expenses - the oceans of the earth were spent as a fuel for quark generators of the ship. A surface of the continents was divided into sectors. The first group of sectors was classified as areas of memory in which cities and places significant to the history of mankind were immersed in stasis. Areas do not assigned to areas of memory, were referred to reserves and controlled by automatic regeneration systems of flora and fauna. These measures were designed to protect home world of aging and decay and preserve the historical heritage for future generations.
